This was cut out of a pamphlet given to me outside my Caribou Coffee with instructions on how to avoid a life of hellfire. I tried to put it in a few collages, but it just made me wish I had kept the whole thing intact.

I'm pretty sure this was my 5th birthday. Maybe 4th. I do remember the balloons being a big deal. This is in my first house at 7 Welwyn Road. That's our cat Bianca who no one liked but me.

Don't remember which concert this was for, but it's weird that I put it in a tin filled with much older artifacts. It must have been a special one. Maybe the Hot IQs, which was my first.

I'm also not sure of the year, but it was with the accordion keys, so I'm assuming it's the same. The gift was an LL Bean bag from my cousins.

The year is a guess, but these are the keys to a Cajun accordion given to me by my father for my birthday.

I'm fairly sure this was purchased on my drive from LA back to PGH after dropping Morgan off for his summer at Dreamworks. I probably intended to send it to Val, as she was always so good at sending me postcards, even when she wasn't away anywhere.

I don't particularly remember this ticket, but I didn't normally park in the garage that gave them, opting instead for the parking meters on Frew, or parking illegally with my blinkers on for the duration of lecture, so it must have been a special occasion. Judging from the date, it was probably Carnival.

I remember going to see this alone which is rare for me, though I enjoy it when I do. It was a pretty scary movie. I remember walking out of the theater around midnight and the boardwalk I was so used to seeing full of people and noise and chaos was completely silent. It was like everyone on the planet had died of some horrible virus and I was the only one left. Except of course for the zombies.

I remember skiing here when I was little, sometimes with school, sometimes with family. I remember the hot chocolate, and the time my mom hurt her leg and got rescue sledded down. I remember how our French ski instructor would say "sheeet!" and Leo Wood would say, "no! It's merde!"

I don't remember when this was exactly, but I know it was just before I moved out of Pittsburgh. Cooper Cracker & I spent the afternoon reading poems, arguing politics, all the usual but I remember we were laughing pretty much the entire time. It's one of my favorite photos. We look so damn happy.

I'm pretty sure this was in that giant video arcade near the waterslides in Ocean City. Tried to locate it as well as possible using Satellite view. I remember that bathing suit I'm wearing— Liz was an early adopter of the 'tankini' and I liked to borrow it when she wasn't looking. It was light blue and green and was made out of some sort of futuristic ultra soft matte material.

I watched this video with Braden and Pat. I cried a little. Guess I really really want him to win.

NILA threw her paintbrush at the camera. First signs of uprising. So cute!
